What are your standard business hours?

The lab’s normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am until 5 pm. If analysis needed during off hours have them call the lab with option 3.

What is your coverage policy during non business hours?

PRECILAB covers any customer’s need with 24/7 Call-in service through our duty phone (972) 661-8160 ext. 3.

What days are considered holidays?

The normal holidays are New Year Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th Holiday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Is PRECILAB accredited to any ISO standard?

Yes, PRECILAB has been ISO17025 accredited since 2004. (See our “Quality Page”).

What is ISO 17025 accreditation?

ISO 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories incorporates all the relevant requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Systems–Model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Servicing. Implementation of these policies ensures that we consistently meet the quality and performance requirements of customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.

What types of samples does PRECILAB handle?

We only provide analytical services for electronic grade chemicals and ultra-pure water in order to limit the risks of contamination to the instruments and pre-treatment equipment.

What types of samples does PRECILAB not handle?

Since PRECILAB wants to concentrate on low detection limit methods and provide the most reliable results, we do not analyze any waste materials, biological, radioactive, food or environmental samples.

What are the requirements to submit a sample?

PRECILAB requires a testing request form to be filled out for each sample submitted. This paperwork ensures that there is proper and clear communication on the requirements of the analyses desired by the customer. This form is for the customer’s protection for both quality of service and proper invoicing. (see our

Are there additional capabilities not listed on your website?

PRECILAB continuously investigates different analysis techniques and instrumentation. If you need some kind of analysis that we have not listed, please contact the Sales personnel or Laboratory Manager. If we do not have the ability we may be able to arrange it for you. We are continually investigating how we can better serve our customers.

Can Precilab provide bottles for my samples?

PRECILAB can provide a variety of bottles depending upon the type of sample. Please contact the Sales personnel or the Laboratory Manager for details.

What services does Precilab offer to help me with my lab methods and analyses?

PRECILAB does provide analytical service consulting.

What forms of payment are acceptable?

PRECILAB does accept credit card payments, check or purchase orders (net 30 days preferred). If you wish to use a credit card, please just indicate on the testing request form that you wish to pay by credit card but do not provide the card number.
