Our Quality Statement

“Precilab will provide world-class quality products and services that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements by using the best laboratory techniques and practices.”

Reliability and Quality Management System

Precilab constantly performs quality checks for every single process from sample preparation and spike recoveries to purchasing control to ensure all analytical data reported is reliable and a true representation of the customer’s chemical sample or product.

For typical trace element or anion analysis, we perform the following quality checks:

  • For every sample type needing trace element analysis which is pretreated by a sub boiling evaporation method, at least one of the replicates are spiked with a known quantity of standard material to ensure that proper recovery is achieved.
  • For every sample set needing trace element analysis which is pretreated by dilute and shoot method, at least one of the samples is spiked with a known quantity of standard material to ensure that proper recovery is obtained.
  • For every sample type needing anion or cation analysis, at least one of the replicates is spiked with a known quantity of standard material to ensure that proper recovery is acquired.
  • Check standards are analyzed routinely throughout the day to ensure that instrument calibration is maintained.

Routine audits occur for both the quality management system and the technical operation with any requirement corrective actions implemented in a timely manner.
